Mobile application to keep track of healthy inputs based on a goal system.

Design Brief
(Willpower: Self-control in eating and wasting food)

We all have bad habits, and often tend to postpone tasks for our future “self” to deal with. Instead of resisting today’s chocolate cookie, we may eat it and then promise ourselves to behave better in the future. How can we ensure that our “future self” keeps the promise? More generally, how can we keep track of our eating habits and/or related behaviours around food waste?

The system should allow the user to choose concrete goals from a selection of goals that are designed to be healthy.
The system should allow the user to choose a dietary preference from an available selection.
The system should allow the user to choose any number of food allergies/dislikes from an available selection.
The system should allow for the user to choose the frequency of diary notifications.
The user should be notified from outside of the app (and in line with frequency settings) as a reminder that the app diary needs to be completed.
The system should allow for outstanding diary entries to be completed as a priority on launching the app.
The system should allow for early goal completion to be posted to social media as an achievement.
The system should present the result of analysis of the goals to inform the user if they have been met.
The system should allow the user to select food-group portions such as Iron or Vitamin C as the target for healthy eating.
